Wright Flow 2240 Rotary Lobe Pump
Wright Flow 2240 Rotary Lobe Pump
Description
Previously used in the beverage industry, the Wright Flow rotary lobe pump, also called a positive displacement pump, uses two lobes rotating around parallel shafts in the body to move liquids. The shafts, to which the lobes are attached, rotate in opposite directions when in operation, repeatedly creating and then collapsing cavities inside the body of the pump, and moving product from the inlet port around the outside of the lobes to the outlet port.
Inlet port: 3.75" diameter, outlet: 5.5" diameter
Needs a new gasket, as well as a motor and variable frequency drive to operate.
