Goring Kerr DSP2 Metal Detector

Operates on the balance coil full loop detection system. Three equally spaced coils surround the aperture: one is the oscillator coil, the other two are the receiving coils. The oscillator produces an electromagnetic field. The receiving coils oppose each other, creating a zero net signal. A piece of metal entering the field changes the balance, causing an error signal. Aperture: 16″L x 18″W x 8.75″H Inclined conveyor: 94″L x 15″W, top end: 45″ from ground, bottom end: 5.5″ from ground. Last certified: 2016 Includes a Marathon 1/3 hp electric motor, a Boston gear motor, a Fabco-Air ‘The Pancake Line’ direct interchange air cylinder, and an Allen-Bradley on-off switch. Tested and working, but it presents the following fault codes: 1) battery low voltage, 2) oscillator out of balance. See photos. Digital manual available upon request.
